Hyspec introduces new Manuli Rockmaster hose range

In order to exceed customers’ expectations for hydraulic hoses, Hyspec has introduced, and is now to standardize on, the Manuli Rockmaster range of hoses. These hoses are available in double wire braid and all wire spiralled formats, and have been specifically developed for increased reliability and service life in heavy duty hydraulic systems, such as the ones found in:

  • Underground and open pit mining,
  • Installations with severe localised abrasion conditions,
  • Equipments operating in heavy duty environmental conditions.

Rockmaster hoses have an outer cover that has up to twenty times more abrasive resistivity than standard hoses supplied by our competitors. In addition, they offer ten times more resistance to ozone, than standard equivalent hoses of the same pressure and general construction, and have superior resistance to high temperature, heat, weather and UVs, ensuring longer hose life and reducing costly downtime. They exceed standard pressure ratings and worldwide flame resistance standards, and are fully compatible with all mining requirements across the globe.

Rockmaster hoses are fully compatible with mineral oils, vegetable oils and synthetic ester based oils (up to 212°F-100°C), glycols and polyglycols, mineral oils in aqueous emulsion and water.

Hyspec has implemented a program in order to standardize the use of Rockmaster hoses at all of its sites. This will ensure that Hyspec conforms with its clients’ mining practices, and supplies products that are covered by their HSE requirements. The program was launched six months ago, and most sites should be fully standardized within the next three months.
